Internet Engineering Task Force Internet-draft Distributed Routing Policy System

چکیده
The RIPE database specifications and RPSL language define languages used as the basis for representing information in a routing policy system. A repository for routing policy system information is known as a routing registry. A routing registry provides a means of exINTERNET-DRAFT Distributed Routing Policy System June 24, 1999 changing information needed to address many issues on importance to the operation of the Internet. The implementation and deployment of a routing policy system must maintain some degree of integrity to be of any use. The Routing Policy System Security internet-draft addresses the need to assure integrity of the data by proposing an authentication and authorization model. This document addresses the need to distribute data over multiple repositories and delegate authority for data subsets to multiple repositories without compromising the authorization model established in Routing Policy System Security internet-draft.

Network Working Group Requirements for Distributed Mobility Management Draft-ietf-dmm-requirements-03
This document defines the requirements for Distributed Mobility Management (DMM) in IPv6 deployments. The traditionally hierarchical structure of cellular networks has led to deployment models which are in practice centralized. Mobility management with logically centralized mobility anchoring in current mobile networks is prone to suboptimal routing and raises scalability issues. Such centraliz...
متن کاملThe Multi-Level Path Vector Routing Scheme
This document describes protocols that are part of the Multi-Level Path Vector (MLPV) routing scheme being developed for use in PIP internets. MLPV is a hierarchical routing scheme. It allows an arbitrary number of levels in the topological hierarchy and arbitrary interconnections within and across levels. Conceptually, the execution of MLPV in a PIP router consists of running multiple, indepen...

The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is the standard interdomain routing protocol in the Internet. Inside an Autonomous System (AS), the interdomain routes are often distributed by using BGP Route Reflectors (RR). Today, most RR are simple BGP routers. We show that by adding intelligence to the RR, it is possible to improve both the routing and the packet forwarding in ASes. We show how a versatil...

BGP flow specification (RFC5575) describes the distribution policy that contains filters and actions that apply when packets are received on a router with the flow specification function turned on. The popularity of these flow specification filters in deployment for DoS and SDN/NFV has led to the requirement for more BGP flow specification match filters in the NLRI and more BGP flow specificati...
